The backpack is made from durable three-layer Triplex fabric (75%) and complemented with genuine leather elements (25%).
Triplex combines acrylic (durability, colorfastness), a latex membrane (waterproofing), and cotton (strength, natural appearance).

FAQ – Manta Backpack
For people who need a larger backpack but don't want to look like tourists.
With 17–20 liters of capacity, it holds a laptop, documents, a sweater, and your groceries. It works with a suit and with casual outfits alike. It's carried by managers, entrepreneurs, architects, and creatives—people whose work depends on a strong first impression.
A typical workday and then some:
- Laptop up to 16"
- A4 documents
- A sweater or hoodie
- A small grocery run on the way home from work
- Water bottle
- Wallet, phone, keys
The main compartment holds 17–20 liters with no unnecessary dividers—just 2 smaller pockets for chargers and small items. And thanks to the expandable top section, you gain another 4 liters.
The MANTA is a part-leather backpack—it combines a durable technical fabric with Italian full-grain leather on the straps, base, and trim. The fabric depends on the color:
- Cordura®—ALL BLACK, BEIGE, BEIGE CARAMEL, LIGHT GREEN, LIGHT BLUE
- Kortexin®—NAVY BLUE, OLIVE GREEN
- Triplex—SALT AND PEPPER (a three-layer natural material)
All of these materials are exceptionally durable and water-resistant.
From the outside, without opening the backpack.
The laptop pocket is on the back panel and opens from the outside—you don't have to take the backpack off or open the main compartment. Just unfasten the Fidlock buckle with one hand, unzip the water-resistant SHZ zipper, and slide your laptop out.
The pocket fits a laptop up to 16" and protects it even in the rain.
Yes. Cordura®, Kortexin®, and Triplex are all water-resistant materials.
The laptop pocket has a water-resistant SHZ zipper, and the front pocket has a waterproof YKK zipper. The backpack handles everyday rain without a problem.
For a downpour or a longer stretch in the rain, we recommend a rain cover—the backpack isn't designed to be submerged in water.

Given the 17–20 liter capacity and the leather detailing, that's a reasonable weight. During all-day wear, you'll barely notice the difference compared to lighter backpacks.
